If your gomi product is in need of a refresh, we can upgrade it into our latest power bank version and recycle any unused parts.

We will remould the plastic from your original power bank into the front case of the new power bank, and then we will add the new aluminium metal back, and refresh the battery cells if needed.
The ports will be upgraded to 18W Fast Charging (USB-C and USB-A).

Just drop it off to our studio in Brighton, UK or send it to us once you have made your upgrade order.

Is it safe to charge two devices at the same time?

Yes. Both the USB-A and the USB-C ports can be used at the same time to charge two different devices. The USB-C port is also used to connect the charger to a power source to charge it after use.

How long does it take for it to fully recharge?

The gomi Power Bank will fully recharge in less than 4 hours when using a standard 18W USB-C power source

Can it be repaired if it breaks?

The gomi Power Bank is designed to be easy to repair in the event that it becomes damaged, or to upgrade after many years of use. The battery cells can quickly be replaced and refreshed if this should ever be needed.

It comes with a full gomi warranty for 2 years, meaning all repairs are free. Any work required after this will be charged at a maximum of £20 + shipping.

What’s your returns policy?

We offer 30 day returns. If you don’t love it, you can return it for us for a full refund. You will just have to cover the shipping cost back to us.

Why second-life batteries and are they reliable?

We decided to use second-life batteries for two main reasons; humanitarian and environmental.

There’s humanitarian and environmental issues around the materials used to make lithium-ion batteries. Especially around cobalt and lithium. Many modern mobility vehicles such as e-bikes have completely fine batteries at the end of life of the e-bike's life. They have to be put out of service due to issues with circuit boards or coming to a fixed ‘3 year period’ where they have to replace a fleet according to contracts.

We have done vigorous quality checking and testing to ensure that the batteries are absolutely reliable and works well as a normal battery should with high capacity. We have passed UN38.3 with flying colours, which allows us to legally use these batteries in consumer electronic products like our Bluetooth Speakers and Power Banks. It's a world-first to use second-life lithium batteries in a commercial consumer electronic product like our Bluetooth Speakers and Power Banks.
